About Me
My name is Sherri Adkins and I am the proud owner of Kanawha Valley Pet Sitters located in Charleston, WV. All of
my life I have wanted to work in the pet care industry and in April of 2005 I ran across an ad in
the paper. It was for a position for a pet care provider at a Doggy Daycare and Boarding facility called Camp Wagging Tails
located in Cornelius, NC. I knew once I started working there that caring for animals was definitely the career
for me. Not only did I enjoy taking care of these pets on a daily basis, but I truly felt as if they were one of my own. Getting
to know them and watching them grow was probably the best experience I have ever had. Not being able to continue to work with
animals is simply not an option for me.
I am now in Charleston, WV and have searched high and low
for a facility similar to Camp Wagging Tails, only to find that there wasn't any. That is what has driven me to starting
Kanawha Valley Pet Sitters. I am committed to providing the best possible pet care in the Kanawha Valley. I do
hope to one day open my own Doggy DayCare and Boarding facility. I feel that all pets deserve the love and care that
their owners give them, even when the owners can't provide it for them. I would be honored to meet you and your furbabies
